S-video cables are used to connect various "legacy" home theater devices--for example, S-VHS decks, older satellite receivers, and the like--or to feed older displays that don't support HDMI or component video. Our s-video cables are conventional round-jacket cables with two inner mini-coaxial type cables carrying the Luminance (Y) and Chrominance (C) components of the s-video signal. The individual coaxes are each shielded with a spiral serve shield.
