For the extra-tough cleaning jobs, wet-sandblasting is the dust-free solution. Shark’s sandblasters attach to a cold-water pressure washer and, using a venturi, mixes sand or other abrasive media with the high-pressure spray to create enough cleaning power to strip paint off concrete and barnacles from a ship’s hull. The sandblasting nozzle is made of tungsten carbide for long life. There are two models; a top-of-the-line steel pot (photo below on right) with tight-fitting lid, or with a probe only.
